As he grew older, he expanded his knowledge of the fishing industry by working on several commercial boats. But it was his love of recreational fishing that ultimately led him back to the water.
In pursuit of his dream, Captain Bateman completed the Cape Fear Marine Technology program, where he gained valuable skills and knowledge to become a successful captain. He holds a six-pack captain’s license with a hundred-ton upgrade, a towing endorsement, and CPR certification, making him more than qualified to ensure your safety while out on the water.
